Persistent Pain - Webinar Series

Recording Date: 2019

Managing the dual diagnoses of opioid use disorder and persistent pain can be a challenge for those providing treatment of pain as well as substance use disorders. Some CARF-accredited providers have developed innovative approaches to address both issues in an integrated setting. This webinar series offers a unique opportunity to take a global approach to dealing with the multiple issues that an individual with opioid use disorder and persistent pain can achieve.

This three-part series addresses:

  • Managing persistent pain and substance use disorder and the importance of identifying trusted providers and building a continuum of care between IPRs and OTPs.
  • Understanding persistent pain through physiology and a population health approach.
  • Treatment of persistent pain, including a look at the history and evolution of models of care.
